In carrying forward these aims St. Michael’s will:

• Equip students with the skills of critical analysis and reflection necessary for the exploration and integration of new knowledge at all levels.
• Provide access to a range of courses in affiliation with UWI, Mona, and in collaboration with UTCWI in all areas of theology and related disciplines.
• Afford students access to the rich heritage of the Christian faith as expressed in our Roman Catholic Tradition.
• Supply students with the support and training to enter a variety of ministries (i.e., counseling, catechesis, mediation, spiritual direction, apologetics, liturgy, etc.).
• Support outreach programmes and projects to facilitate effective responses to social issues.
• Foster an atmosphere of ecumenical dialogue, especially through collaboration with UTCWI.
• Furnish on-going spiritual and professional formation for both clergy and laity engaged in pastoral leadership.
