The Bachelor of Arts in Guidance and Counselling is designed to train professionals to serve youth and families in the education, community development and ecclesial sectors. It offers training in psychology, sociology, counselling and research skills, as well as specialized courses which prepare students especially to work in church, school and community to influence and bring about behaviour change.
Congratulation to our 2022 graduates who have made us proud, upholding the standard of excellence the College had set before them. They have left a wonderful trail of high quality for those who follow. At the 2022 UWI graduation exercises, the College will present our first batch of Licentiate in Philosophy (L.Phil) students along with our B.A. Theology students. The quality of the awarded degrees this year is exceptional. All the BA Theology students will receive degrees with honours and all sixteen (16) Licentiate in Philosophy graduates receiving with Distinction or Honours.
The renewed SMTC plans to offer more courses in carrying out the mandate of the Archdiocese Strategic Plan, using on-line methods to make many of its offerings available across the Caribbean
